Leading hardware distributor Window Ware has rounded off a fantastic last 18 months with an incredible four nominations at this year’s G-Awards.

The Bedford-based company has been shortlisted for the ‘COVID-19 Business Hero, Best Component Supplier and Best Customer Care Initiative, while their Credit Control Manager, Sharon Fowler, is also a finalist for Unsung hero.

The success doesn’t stop with Window Ware, as Arran Isle Ltd is up for Best Training & Development Initiative with their Horizon Development Programme, for which Window Ware’s MD Sam Nuckey was the programme leader.

These nominations mean the world to a company that has gone above and beyond to meet record levels of demand, maintain service continuity and keep the hardware coming for their busy customers who are working flat out to meet the home improvement boom.  And all of this amidst a backdrop of social distancing, self-isolating, remote working and supply chain challenges on a global scale!

Sam Nuckey commented: “We are absolutely thrilled to be shortlisted for a mind-blowing total of four prestigious G- Awards, which is a definite first for us. These nominations are a true testament to everyone’s hard work and perseverance throughout the past 18 months here at Window Ware.”

“It’s been a real team effort and without the unfailing determination and commitment of the whole crew, including our Unsung Hero award nominee, Sharon, we simply wouldn’t be in the running for important industry awards like these.”

The winners will be announced at the G21 Awards presentation and Gala Dinner on Friday 26th November at the London Hilton hotel on Park Lane.
