Sherborne Windows is already seeing the benefit from its new website and digital marketing strategy thanks to Purplex – despite the current coronavirus crisis.
The South East home improvement company, which has been trading for more than 25 years, took the decision in early January to invest in a new website with the leading full-service marketing agency.
And the website launch at the beginning of April, alongside a new digital marketing strategy devised by Purplex to include virtual showroom appointments and offers such as a price promise, is paying dividends.
Claire Long, Head of Marketing at Sherborne Windows, said: “We’ve been trading for 26 years and our previous site was struggling to load effectively and needed a complete overhaul.
“The lockdown has provided us with an opportunity to reflect and think about what’s going to work on the website, how it’s going to work and who can access it?
“The solution had to be one that incorporated all those areas and I think the virtual showroom and price promise has worked brilliantly and has made us more approachable.”
The new website has helped Sherborne Windows continue to provide their customers with the advice they need on their orders during the current climate.
“Clearly this is a nervous time for customers, and we have been able to reassure them that we are staying strong through this, as we have done through other challenging times in the past such as numerous recessions, issues in the banking sector with financial crashes and of course most recently Brexit,” added Claire.
“Orders have merely been paused to resume in the same order once things are back to normal, and I’m pleased to say we haven’t had a single cancellation.
“We have also recently worked with a couple of architects and interior designs who have been sending their clients to our virtual showroom.”
Andrew Scott, Purplex’s MD, commented: “It’s great to see home improvement companies such as Sherborne Windows investing in their marketing even during the current climate and showing their ambition.
“Businesses should be using this down-time to look at their assets, and your website has never been more important as more business is set to move online when the crisis ends.”
