A challenging heritage installation delivered by Concept Glazing was made possible thanks to Timberlook’s unique heritage style uPVC windows.
The project, which involved installing over 45 heritage-style uPVC Timberlook windows in a 200-year old thatched cottage, required exceptional skill which was effortlessly demonstrated by the Bournemouth-based installer.
Determined to achieve a delicate balance between preserving historical authenticity and introducing performance features, Concept Glazing selected Timberlook’s heritage window range for this particular project.

The installation featured Timberlook’s flush sash windows, specified with black outer frames, white sashes, and astragal bars – a classic combination that perfectly complemented the cottage’s traditional architecture.
Key to the project’s success was Timberlook’s attention to traditional joinery details. The range incorporates mechanical Timberweld joints instead of welded corners, authentic wood grain finishes, and traditional black Monkeytail handles.
