Warwick North West Continues Award-Winning Streak with G24 Awards Shortlisting

Warwick North West, a leading window and door manufacturer based in Bootle in the Liverpool City Region, has added another feather to its cap by being shortlisted for the highly competitive Fabricator of the Year category at the prestigious G24 Awards. This marks the company’s first appearance on the shortlist for this esteemed industry accolade, continuing its impressive run of recent award successes.

The nomination follows a string of victories for Warwick North West, including being crowned Business of the Year at the City of Liverpool Business Awards (COLBA), winning the Manufacturing & Innovation award at the Liverpool Chamber Innovation in Business Awards, and securing the Business of the Year title at the Sefton Business Awards.

Managing Director Greg Johnson expressed his excitement: “Being shortlisted for Fabricator of the Year at the G24 Awards is a tremendous honour. It’s a testament to our team’s dedication, our commitment to quality, and our innovative approach to manufacturing. This industry recognition, following our recent regional successes, further validates our efforts on a national scale.”

Warwick North West has distinguished itself through its technical expertise, customer-centric approach, and commitment to social responsibility. The company’s impressive growth, doubling its turnover to nearly £12 million in 2023, coupled with its expansion into aluminium products and investment in cutting-edge machinery, has set it apart in a challenging economic landscape.

The fabricator’s dedication to social value is evident in its partnerships with local charities and innovative recruitment practices, addressing the industry-wide skills shortage while supporting the local community.

Greg has also been actively representing the fenestration industry at a governmental level. At the recent Labour Party conference, he engaged in crucial discussions with cabinet ministers and metro mayors about the industry’s pivotal role in the government’s plan to build 1.5 million homes over the next five years. These conversations covered key issues such as sustainability, the industry’s challenges with skills and labour shortages, and the ongoing drive for energy-efficient homes.

Furthermore, Greg’s recent appointment to the Bootle Partnership board with the local council positions him as a voice not only for Warwick, but for building stronger links between the fenestration sector and policy makers.

“At Warwick, we believe in doing business the right way,” Greg added. “We’re not just fabricating windows and doors; we’re building a better future for our industry, our community, and our country. This shortlisting is a wonderful recognition of that ethos. We’re honoured to be in such esteemed company, and I’d like to wish good luck to all the finalists across all categories. The G24 Awards truly showcase the best of our industry.”

The winners of the G24 Awards will be announced at a gala dinner on Friday, 29 November, where Warwick North West hopes to add another accolade to its growing list of achievements. The company’s consistent recognition across various awards platforms underscores its position as a rising star in both the regional business community and the national fenestration industry.
