Specialist marketing data supplier Insight Data is pleased to announce the appointment of a new Commercial Director.
Alex Tremlett, 30, has been with the company for ten years, starting his career with the firm as a telephone researcher. Since then he has progressed up the career ladder, taking on roles including Research Manager and Operations Manager.
Insight Data was launched in 2006 by entrepreneur Andrew Scott – still the company’s MD – and in less than 20 years has become the leading provider of marketing data and CRM software exclusively in the UK construction, fenestration and glazing industries.
As Commercial Director, Alex’s role will include managing the research team, overseeing the software development department and involvement in the strategic planning of sales, marketing and email marketing. Alex will also oversee the customer support department.
He said: “I know the business from top to bottom so I’m hoping to pass my experience and knowledge over to the rest of the team to help them develop and progress within the business. I have extensive knowledge in the fenestration and construction sector so I will be making sure the services we offer to our clients is of the very highest standard. I also look forward to directly working with our clients moving forward, helping them and their businesses grow.”
Alex’s promotion comes as Insight Data prepares to launch a raft of new developments, including the highly anticipated version of Salestracker 4, the fully integrated sales and marketing platform designed exclusively for the building and fenestration industry. Also in development are new databases and improvements to the company’s email marketing, telesales and market research offerings.
