Independent hardware supplier Total Hardware has just introduced the new Federal 3* Cylinder Lock to its range. General Manager Chris Pell, said: “The Federal 3* Cylinder Lock is an intelligently designed TS007 3* anti-snap security product that provides maximum protection against cylinder attack.”
With options for PVC-U, aluminium, timber and composite door applications, the Federal 3* Cylinder Lock has a wealth of features that mean it is TS007 3* approved and Secured by Design-compliant. It is also Sold Secure Diamond Grade tested by BSI and the MLA.
The ‘snap’ protection has been intelligently designed to snap in a controlled way with a sacrificial cut. It has five hardened double pins with a magnetic pin system and a trap pin for anti-bump and anti-pick capabilities. It is anti-drill and Iron Guard technology is used to protect the cam.
The horizontal key lock is available as a standard cylinder, Keyed Alike and Thumb Turn variations, and there are more than 50,000 key differentiations. It is supplied with three keys and a registration card for key duplication security. It has a dual nickel and brass finish to complement a large range of handle finishes and comes complete with an M5 fixing screw.
