Quanex company Edgetech will be exhibiting its renowned product range at Glasstec 2024, the world’s leading trade fair for the glass industry.
From 22 to 25 October, its international sales team will welcome visitors at stand D 67 in hall 17 at the Dusseldorf event.
This year’s Glasstec focus on decarbonisation, the circular economy, and digital technologies aligns with the growing importance of climate change.
It makes Edgetech, with its 35-year track record of helping ambitious IGU manufactures produce outstanding glass units – which themselves then go on deliver superb thermal efficiency in finished buildings – an ideal fit for the event.
“In the years ahead, it’s likely that high-performing glass units will become more crucial than ever,” comments Tony Palmer, Edgetech’s Head of Sales.
“Insulating glass windows installed today need to deliver energy efficiency, sustainability, durability, and comfort for decades to come.
“The thermally separated edge seal is a critical component in achieving these goals.”
Super Spacer® T-Spacer’s unique shape, which ensures the integrity of the edge seal, reducing tension on the butyl cord and secondary seal, will be on show.
The product allows for both automated and manual application, making it suitable for flat and free-form glazing. A spectacular curved unit on display will demonstrate to visitors the capability of Super Spacer® to enable architects the freedom to design without limits.
With its low thermal conductivity value of 0.015 W/mK, T-Spacer Premium also effectively prevents thermal bridges, reducing energy loss and improving indoor comfort.
Super Spacer® products hold the Passive House certificate and a 40-year warranty, offering architects and specifiers a reliable, future-proof solution.
Live demonstrations of Super Spacer® application on stand will show how it can be applied with precision to all sorts of glass units, ensuring exact parallelism from XXS to XXL glazing, from rectangles to complex shapes.
Additionally, Super Spacer® is available in a range of colours to match various design aesthetics.
“By offering automated production and warm edge as standard, insulating glass manufacturers and processors should visit the Edgetech stand to experience first-hand how they can position themselves for future success,” Tony concludes.
Edgetech Europe will be at Glasstec 2024 on stand D76 in hall 17.
