Leading North East uPVC and aluminium fabricator TWR Group has strengthened its team with the appointment of Rob Rancatore as its new Sales Director.
Rob brings a wealth of experience to the role, having spent 30 years in the window industry across various sales positions.
Starting in 1994 in telesales for Avocet/WMS hardware, Rob continued in the hardware sector with Schuring, working solely with fabricators, before transitioning across to selling windows to the trade and working for companies including Total Glass, Polyframe, Masco, Seven Day Windows, and Stevenswood, part of the Customade Group.
“I’m excited to take on this new challenge and contribute to TWR Group’s continued success,” said Rob. “I’ve been impressed by the company’s commitment to quality and customer service, and I’m confident that we can build on that foundation to achieve even greater things together.
“What’s also been refreshing is I’ve been able to make suggestions to the management directors Terry and Laura and they have been more than welcoming to try to assist. I’ve been speaking to existing customers about any extra support we can provide, and they have been great. I have really enjoyed it so far.”
Since joining TWR Group a month ago, Rob has made a significant impact, working with both the uPVC and aluminium departments and familiarising himself with TWR’s operations and customer base.
The approach has already produced positive results and TWR Group Director Laura Richardson said: “Rob’s extensive experience makes him perfect to lead our sales and he has really hit the ground running.
“We can already see a positive influence on the uPVC side, particularly with an increase in orders which is brilliant. Everyone in the office thinks highly of him and it feels like he’s been part of the family for a long time already. He’s just been a hit from day one.”
