People focused manufacturer Quickslide, continues to raise money for charity with a substantial donation of £9,289 to GM Fundraising following the company’s latest efforts. The money was raised from a combination of Christmas parties with raffle stations and an onsite raffle for their staff.
Adrian Barraclough, Chairman of Quickslide comments: “At the heart of Quickslide is people, whether that’s our fantastic team, customers, or suppliers. That is why supporting charitable causes and people less fortunate than us, has always felt like a natural extension of the business.
“We’re always proud to support Gary and the great charitable work he does, and we all had a great time raising money across two Christmas parties and our raffles. Our annual Christmas celebrations exemplify our commitment not only to fostering strong relationships but also to making a positive impact beyond business boundaries. Prizes for the raffles were completely varied from pot noodles to premium hospitality tickets to Arsenal, but everyone dug deep and proved themselves to be wholeheartedly generous once again.
“Special thanks must go to Regency Glass who donated an incredible £5,000, and to our amazing suppliers and customers who donated prizes.”
On receiving the cheque from Quickslide, Gary Morton said: “A huge thank you to Adrian and the team at Quickslide for this magnificent gesture. Adrian and Quickslide are long term supporters of GM Fundraising and never cease to amaze me with their efforts to support the kids at Hope House Children’s Hospices”.
Adrian concludes: “It’s always a pleasure to raise money for GM Fundraising or any other charitable cause and yet again I am astounded and very grateful for the generosity of the people we work with.”
