Leading composite door supplier Hurst Doors has been highlighting the work of its highly skilled network of installers with its Installation of the Month competition.
For the last six months, the firm has been encouraging customers to submit pictures of their finest installations – and once a month, the Hurst team awards the installation they consider the best.
Winners receive a year’s free license to Hurst’s online door designer, worth £459 + VAT. Plus, the homeowner receives a £50 Amazon voucher.
In October, the competition was won by Image Windows and Doors in Essex, who fitted a stylish and contemporary composite door in fashionable Anthracite Grey.

In November, the winners were husband and wife team Chiltern Home Improvements.
They fitted two tasteful Chartwell Green cottage doors with diamond glazing on a pair of stately red-brick cottages built in 1844.
Tracy Brewer of Chiltern comments: “We loved working on such a historic property, and felt the doors perfectly blended with the property’s red brick and traditional sash windows.
“We’ve been in business since 1998 and consistently used Hurst since 2001, which shows you how much we love their products and service!”
In December, Purbeck Windows of Dorset fitted a refined cottage composite door in an attractive Dusty Grey, complete with heritage bull ring knocker and elegant decorative glazing.
Director Mark Spicer comments: “We carried out this installation on a friend’s house, so I was really pleased it won!
“Hurst are so good to work with, and they’re a very valued partner for Purbeck. We look forward to working with them in future!”
Finally, in February, the competition was won by Majer Windows, who fitted a stylish and contemporary Bohemia door with Murano glass in fashionable Dusty Grey.

The competition will continue to run for the next 6 months and Hurst are keen to encourage more installers to enter.

Hurst’s user-friendly door designer can be seamlessly integrated into an installer’s website, enabling homeowners to customise their ideal door according to their needs and preferences.
Users can choose from a wide variety of options, including style, colour, hardware, glass designs, and the addition of Secured by Design. The designer can be fully tailored to showcase a company’s branding and allows installers to send personalised emails to their customers. Furthermore, the platform synchronizes with Hurst Live, Hurst’s exclusive 24/7 trade-only online ordering portal.
Customer leads generated through the door designer on the installer’s website can be managed within their Hurst Live account, from quote to order to delivery.
For the competition, installers of Hurst Doors can enter by sharing their installation images on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter, tagging Hurst Doors, or alternatively, by sending their images to marketing@hurstdoors.co.uk.
