The Ultraroof tiled roof system from Ultraframe is an extremely popular choice for conservatory transformation projects such as this one which was carried out by Monmouthshire Conservatory Company.
CASE STUDY – The Ultraroof Countryside Dream
Mr & Mrs Hibbert live in a beautiful home in the countryside which had an existing conservatory with views over the Brecon Beacons. The couple wanted a more substantial feel for their new space and for it to have a more consistent, comfortable temperature to enable them to use it far more often than the old conservatory.
They searched online for a local company and found Monmouthshire Conservatory Company. Working with the team there, together they developed the design for their stunning replacement conservatory using their existing base and stone work.
Featuring an Ultraroof tiled solid roof, the new conservatory offers a comfortable, consistent temperature and is far more energy efficient than the old structure. Ultraroof is the warmest solid roof on the market, offering unrivalled thermal performance and making it the ideal choice for a room which can be used at any time of the year. The roof features two full length glazed panels to ensure that although it offers the more substantial room-like feel that the couple wanted, it is also light and bright on the interior. The design of the new aluminium windows and doors is far simpler than the ones on the old conservatory, giving a fresh modern look, while the beautiful Agate Grey colour chosen for the frames complements the white render of the home and the natural stone dwarf walls perfectly, giving a stunning overall look to this transformation.
Commenting about their conservatory transformation experience, Mrs Hibbert said: “Our old conservatory was very cold, and it leaked and so we were only able to use it on very warm days. When we first began to think about transforming it into a more usable space our main aims were to address the coldness and leaks, and also to bring a more substantial room-like feel to the space. We liked the simplicity and clean lines of the Ultraframe range which Monmouthshire Conservatory Company offered and there was a good range of options offered to us, but we made a decision pretty quickly on our chosen design featuring an Ultraroof. We are delighted with our new conservatory and use it far more than the previous one, for reading, eating, having friends round, and more. The windows are much larger than those on the previous conservatory and so our views over the Brecon Beacons and our garden are much clearer and the new technology in the frames and roof means that we are assured of its energy efficiency. It seemed to take a short time to erect and the customer service from Monmouthshire Conservatory Company was excellent throughout. I would definitely recommend Ultraframe to others – in fact I have already done so!”
