Hardware specialist VBH has added a number of new products to its Lifestyle range of products, their umbrella term for hardware solutions for patio doors.
Having introduced the greenteQ Clearspan for bi-fold doors 8 years ago, VBH reports that it has enjoyed great success with the product and it is now one of the company’s most popular ranges.
Until recently Clearspan has been available for two aluminium profile systems but a flurry of new product development has seen the introduction this year of solutions to suit five more leading systems, including Exlabesa and Reynaers.
VBH Marketing Manager Gary Gleeson says “We get nothing but great feedback from customers who already use Clearspan and we’re very excited about making the product available to many more fabricators with the introduction of solutions for more aluminium profile systems.”
Although the Lifestyle range also encompasses Clearlift hardware for aluminium lift/slide doors, and Aspire handles to suit, VBH point out that PVCu fabricators will also find products under the Lifestyle umbrella.
As an example, VBH have recently launched the greenteQ Clearslide stainless steel hook lock for PVCu inline sliding doors.
Gary adds “Because of the success we’ve had with bi-fold and lift/slide hardware, we’re seen by many as the industry’s patio door hardware specialist.
“Clearslide has come about in response to requests from fabricators for VBH to develop an 8 hook locking system within the greenteQ brand. It suits the leading PVCu sliding door systems and our customers can now fit a Clearslide lock, Orion 3 star cylinder and their choice of standard Alpha or Coastline stainless steel handles for a true greenteQ sliding door solution.”
