Leading aluminium fabricator CDW Systems is a finalist at the South West’s biggest and most celebrated business awards.
The Gloucester-based business, specialists in trade supply of aluminium window, door, and curtain wall products, has been nominated for Business of the Year 51+ employees at this year’s Business Leader Awards.
Open to any company employing over 51 staff and with its HQ in the South West, CDW Systems impressed the team of independent judges with its continued investment, proven sector leadership and solid growth – despite the challenging year.
“To be shortlisted for a Business Leader award is brilliant,” commented CDW’s Group Chairman Jeremy Phillips. “It’s testament to the hard work we have put in as a business for both ourselves and our customers.”
Oli Ballard, Business Leader Director, said: “We need successful businesses and entrepreneurs, and these awards provide a platform for them to showcase what they do and celebrate their success.
“It’s a huge endorsement of the innovation and get up and go in the region, that despite the pandemic and everything thrown at business leaders, we’ve still seen a record number of entries.”
Despite being a year like no other, the awards received a record number of entries from businesses from a variety of sectors across the region.
As the most prestigious and celebrated business event of the year in the South West, the Awards usually features a glamourous, black-tie, gala evening, with previous hosts including Sir Ranulph Fiennes OBE, Michael Portillo Gyles Brandreth, Jeremy Vine, and Russell Kane.
However, due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, it will be a virtual event this year – with more details to be released in due course.
