Two members of staff at HOPPE (UK) have achieved their 25 years’ service award.
The HOPPE (UK) team are celebrating Tony Firth, warehouse manager, and Jo-anne Neale, stock controller, as they mark their silver jubilee. Both Tony and Jo-anne worked for Charter Hardware when it was acquired by HOPPE (UK) in 1997.
Tony joined HOPPE (UK) as a picker in the warehouse and has since held many other roles including goods inwards supervisor and stock controller before becoming warehouse manager in 2007.
Jo-anne started her career at HOPPE (UK) as a receptionist until 2004, when she joined the purchasing team as a purchasing administrator. She has been in her most recent role for eight years.
Ged Ryan, CEO of HOPPE (UK), said:
“Tony and Jo-anne have seen many big changes at HOPPE (UK) including the creation of HOPPE’s sister brand, ARRONE, and moving to our current premises in Gailey Park, Wolverhampton, in 1999. This year has certainly not run as expected and brought unique challenges, but milestone celebrations like this provide a great opportunity to celebrate with the team and inject some positivity.
“Tony and Jo-anne’s loyalty to HOPPE (UK) is testament to what a great team we have here. Nearly a third of the UK team has been with the business for over 10 years. The loyalty of the HOPPE (UK) team is at the heart of our success and first-class customer service.”
Tony and Jo-anne were presented with their long service awards at a social distanced ceremony.
